Pet Photographer Richie Schwartz, a former Veterinary Technician, Groomer and Dog Trainer is the founder of Pets Photography Studio in NY. He has over 40 years’ experience as a professional photographer. During his first twenty years as a professional photographer, he worked in photojournalism, weddings, schools, sports, fashion, families and children, actors, and models, and of course pets. In 2002 Richie made the move to specialize in Pet Photography only. Having photographed over 100,000 pets across 33 states, he has become one of the country’s most prolific and sought-after Pet Photographers and is often referred to as “America’s Most Experienced Pet Photographer”.

A firm believer in giving back to the community, Richie volunteers his time and services to raise funds and awareness for animal rescue groups. Richie was named one of The Top 25 Pet People of 2010 along with Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, and Betty White for their charity work on behalf of animals. (NBC Universal).
